About the Event
Night to Shine Tri-Valley is more than a prom; it’s a celebration of love, joy, and inclusion for individuals with special needs aged 14 and older. This event has become a beacon of happiness for many. Imagine a night filled with dancing, delicious dinners, lively karaoke, creative crafts, tranquil spaces, and a dedicated respite room for the incredible parents and caregivers of our guests. And let’s not forget, each guest is paired with an enthusiastic, age-appropriate buddy, making the night even more special.

We’re moving our event to the fabulous, brand-new building of Blue Oaks Church, right beside the Alameda County Fairgrounds. We’ve got tons of fun volunteer opportunities waiting just for you: team up as a Buddy, bring the hype on the red carpet, capture those perfect moments as a photographer, unleash your inner superstar in the karaoke room, get creative with crafts, and so much more! Every role is a chance to make unforgettable memories and bring joy to everyone.
- Buddies must be 16+ as of February 9th, 2024
- Other positions: 14+ as of February 9th, 2024

- A background check is required for all over 18 volunteers
